1. Prep the Filter: Submerge the quadruple filter pad in a clean bowl of water for 5 minutes, then rinse it under the cold tap to wash away any natural, loose charcoal dust particles.

2. Assemble the Pump: Press the suction cups of the pump firmly into its designated slot at the bottom of the 2L tank. Guide the USB power cable through the slot at the top edge of the reservoir.

3. Fill & Layer: Fill the tank with clean water up to the safe fill line (2L maximum). Place the filter tray over the pump, drop the rinsed filter pad into place, and secure the top drinking tray.

4. Customize & Power Up: Insert the decorative flower spout if your pet prefers a streaming waterfall, or leave it off for a gentle pool fountain. Plug the USB cord into any standard 5V wall adapter or outlet block.
