Unbox and Clean All Parts
Remove all components (bowl/base, water tank/reservoir, pump, filter(s), any spout or lid).
Rinse everything thoroughly with warm water (except the electrical parts/pump motor). Do not put the pump or electrical components in a dishwasher.

Prepare the Filter
Soak the carbon/sponge filter in clean water for 5 minutes before first use (this rinses out any carbon dust).
Rinse it well. It’s normal for the water to look slightly yellow/black at first.

Assemble the Fountain
Install the pump in the base (usually at the bottom).
Attach any silicone tube/hose if included.
Place the filter into the filter housing or tray (often on the underside of the lid or in a dedicated compartment).
Fill the water tank/reservoir with clean, fresh water up to the MAX line (use filtered or bottled water for best results).
Assemble the top lid/tray onto the base.

Power It On
Connect the USB cable to a power adapter (5V USB) or the included plug (choose USB version for universal use).
Plug it in. The pump should start circulating water. Many models have 2–3 flow modes (adjust via button or switch if available).

Placement
Place on a flat, stable surface away from walls (to reduce splashing).
Introduce your pet gradually — some pets need time to get used to the flowing water.
